VCU Massey physicians listed among Best Doctors in America®
Feb 22, 2013

Best Doctors Inc. has named 12 physicians from the Virginia Commonwealth University Massey Cancer Center to the 2013 list of Best Doctors in America®.
These physicians are among 5 percent of the doctors in America selected by their peers of more than 45,000 physicians.
Doctors are evaluated based on their credentials, clinical activity and accessibility to existing or new patients.
According to the Boston-based Best Doctors Inc., physicians are asked to evaluate their peers because they have a unique, “inside” perspective about who is at the top of their profession, who is updated on the latest advances in their field and who they would seek for state-of-the-art care when faced with a serious medical problem of their own.
Best Doctors Inc. was founded in 1989 by two Harvard Medical School physicians. Their vision was to provide greater access to dependable, high-quality medical information and care for individuals with serious illnesses and injuries.
