Dr. Lastrapes joined the VCU faculty in 2016. She is an active member of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
In 2021 Dr. Lastrapes was honored in 8News’ Remarkable Women series for her compassionate, expert care of children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
