Massey for Your Cancer Care
More than 20,000 people across the country choose VCU Massey for their cancer care each year. We believe in whole-person care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. Our resources and services for healthy living, psychological and social support, financial wellbeing, integrated palliative care and survivorship care help make sure our patients are cared for both physically and emotionally.
- We provide a level of expertise found only at the top 4 percent of cancer centers across the country designated by the NCI. We are the only comprehensive cancer center in the Richmond area and one of only two in Virginia designated by the NCI to lead America’s cancer research agenda.
- Our patients have access to the latest treatment options, including precision medicine and immunotherapy, and specialized medical fields like cardio-oncology. We are the first cancer center in Virginia to offer CAR T-cell therapy and is the only center in the state to offer tumor infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy. We also offer one of the largest selections of clinical trials in Virginia, offering patients access to the latest treatment options available.
- Our care teams include health care professionals from a range of disciplines, including medical oncology, radiation therapy and surgery, to physical therapy, social work and nutrition. Our providers actively participate in national and international oncology organizations to continually learn about the latest science deliver care that is always guided by the most up-to-date practices.
