About NCORP

VCU Massey plays a significant role in facilitating the development of community-based clinical trial partnerships. Massey’s NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) offers access to 10+ health systems and oncology medical practices, giving patients access to prevention, early detection and treatment clinical trials as well as cancer care delivery research closer to home. Massey is one of only seven academic-based NCORPs in the country. Funded since 1990, Massey is one of the longest standing recipients of the NCORP grant.

Massey’s NCORP assists affiliate sites with development and ongoing management of quality clinical trials and provides access to innovative cancer trials through NCI Networks. The team also provides ongoing training and education to investigators and staff at affiliate sites to support increased enrollment.
