About Massey's Community Resource Centers

Massey’s Community Resource Centers and satellite sites provide access to cancer health information – cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, clinical trials and survivorship – in local communities. We offer up-to-date and helpful information and education on knowing your cancer risk, as well as help cutting through the clutter and fear of a stressful diagnosis by directing cancer patients, survivors and their networks of support to reliable sources.

Community Resource Centers and satellite sites are available to:

  • Ensure community members have the knowledge and resources needed to live healthier lives
  • Navigate Virginians to screening services for early detection
  • Establish trusted relationships with health service providers
  • Provide cancer-specific informational material

Community Resource Centers are located in Danville and Lawrenceville along the State Highway 58 corridor. In addition, satellite services are offered at our community partner locations – Petersburg Library HLLC and the VCU Health Hub at 25th in Richmond’s East End.
