Research description
Cellular immunotherapy and bone marrow transplantation. Research includes prevention and treatment of Graft-versus Host disease, optimal stem cell source, cellular immunotherapy of refractory infections in immunocompromised hosts, immune tolerance modulation and induction, myeloproliferative disorders and bone marrow failure syndromes. Additional research into geriatric transplantation and identification/modification of fitness and frailty in patients undergoing transplantation and cellular immunotherapy procedures.
