The information technology (IT) team provides a wide range of IT assistance for those residing within the Goodwin Research Laboratory and Massey building, including Windows and Macintosh desktop support services and troubleshooting, network configuration, equipment installations and upgrades, equipment-lifecycle management recommendations and purchasing consultation.

Financial services include the development, implementation and monitoring of financial plans that support Massey’s strategic initiatives and operational priorities, as well as management of the center’s operational budget, accounting, financial reporting, payroll, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial compliance functions.
Order requests & promotional items
All requests for purchase orders, invoices for payments, honoraria, stipends, independent contractors (ICA), p-card, etc. should be submitted via the form below for review and processing. If you have questions regarding this process, please contact Danielle Randolph at masseyorders@vcu.edu.
Promotional items, or SWAG, are now purchased centrally through Massey’s finance team to ensure oversight of ordering and inventory management. Orders will be placed quarterly, with special orders as needed. FY24 order dates include:

The space management and facilities team provides and maintains the physical space and equipment supporting Massey research members and administrative staff. The Office of Research Development supports members in the development of cancer-focused manuscripts and grant proposals from conceptualization to the final submission. Team science and intra-programmatic, multi-PI projects are highly encouraged. The level of assistance provided during the development process varies based on the complexity of the project and the experience of the investigator(s), and the need for a team approach to develop the proposal.
Support is dependent upon staff availability and priority status. Priority is given to team science grant proposals and proposals in direct alignment with MCC’s strategic plan and research program aims.
Please submit your proposal support request according to the following time frames:
- Research Grant Proposals (e.g., R01, R21, F31, Supplement, Foundation)
- At least four weeks prior to the submission deadline without subcontracts
- At least six weeks if the submission requires subcontract(s)
- Multi-Component/Multi-Institutional Grant Proposals (e.g., U54, U01, P01, P20)
- At least sixteen weeks prior to the deadline for team science and/or multi-component/institution submissions
- Training Grants (e.g., K12, T32)
- At least sixteen weeks prior to the deadline
- At least twelve weeks prior to the deadline without Data Table support
- Manuscripts
- At least four weeks prior to targeted submission date
