Research description
The Koblinski lab's primary research interest focuses on the mechanisms that facilitate breast cancer metastasis to the brain. We have been studying the role of syndecans, as well as exosomes in breast cancer brain metastasis. Additionally, we have been involved in examining sulfated glycosaminoglycans as a biomarker for breast cancer treatment with a novel agent developed by Dr. Farrell, Triplatin.
