Research description
My research is focused on the role of the non-coding RNAs in cancer. In particular, I investigate the role of microRNAs in lung cancer biology and as circulating biomarkers. I also explore the role of epitranscriptome (A to I editing, m6A methylation) of non-coding RNAs. I also design and test artificial microRNA for targeting point-mutated oncogenes mRNAs in cancer.
Published research (during tenure as a Massey Cancer Center member)
